Beats On The Balcony is back! Our popular event on the 1st floor in Restaurant Sirocco returns on Sunday 1st May 2022.

Enjoy the sounds of summer with DJs on the balcony in Sirocco and a delicious brunch style menu (coming soon!). We are really excited to be bringing this event back to Sirocco for the summer with a mix of resident and local DJs providing the tunes.

Starter

‘Beef tartare, pickled beetroot, truffle, carrot’

Victor says:

“I like this dish because the customer can season the beef to their liking allowing them to personalise the dish to their desired flavour”

Main

‘Roast cod fillet, peas, capers, baby gem lettuce, pancetta’

Victor says:

“This is the perfect summer dish, a nice chunky piece of fish with a light but piquant aroma”

Dessert

‘Strawberry parfait, toasted marshmallow, white chocolate mousse’

Victor says:

“In season strawberries, this dish has a refreshing and light taste and is perfect if the sun is shining! I would also add a glass of Elysium Black Muscat”

Wines

Victor has suggested two wines for your meal…

If you are a lover of white wine, he recommends the ‘ Waterkloof – Circle of Life‘ – a full bodied blend of Sauvignon Blanc & Chenin Blanc. Waterkloof use Biodynamic farming and haven’t used pesticides since 2008, achieving ‘Biodiversity Champion Status’

If you prefer red wine, Victor recommends the light bodied Pinot Noir from Cloudy Bay (New Zealand). He says this wine would be paired perfectly with his chosen starter of beef tartare.
