Kitchen Confidential Event
August 03, 2017
Have you got what it takes to work in Sirocco Kitchen for one day alongside Steve & the team?
We will be hosting two Kitchen Confidential events. There are eight places available for amateur chefs, on both dates, to be taught by Steve in the professional kitchen during the day. This will be followed in the evening by a full restaurant service, run by the participants for their invited guests, whether this be friends, family, colleagues or clients.
There is a choice of 2 dates; Thursday August 24th or Thursday September 7th 2017.
This is not a competition, rather an experience to learn skills and tricks of the trade by an award-winning chef, and to work, as well as serve in a 3 AA Rosette restaurant. Steve will choose his ‘top’ student from each event and award them with a private dining voucher for the exclusive Wine Cellar.
The Kitchen Confidential experience will cost £150.00 per participant. This will be a full day of tuition and real life experience within a 3 AA Rosette restaurant, cooking from start to finish and producing high quality food in a professional environment. The lucky applicants will get to feel the expectations of clients/family, whilst having to produce under the watchful eye of Steve and his team.
The 3 course dinner will cost £45.00 per person and includes a pre-dinner drink.
The monies raised will go towards rebuilding a primary school in a village called Danda-Kharka in Nepal. I worked and spent a month with eleven volunteers on a Jersey Overseas Aid project in January 2015. In April 2015 this small village was hit badly by an earthquake in which seven children lost their lives and out of 97 buildings only two remained standing.
