Deputy General Manager

Originally from Ireland, Michelle started at The Royal Yacht in 1997.  Working her way up from assistant manager in the ‘Old Royal Yacht’, Michelle is now Deputy General Manager, assisting the Mr. Vieira with the day to day running of the hotel.  Michelle’s knowledge and experience was advantageous in ensuring a smooth transition from the old business to the new development when the hotel relaunched in 2007.  She loves hotel life; with all the diversity and no two days ever being the same.  Having made some amazing friends over the years with those who frequent the hotel, it really feels like a second home.  When not working, Michelle loves to read, socialise and spend time with her family.

Her favourite thing about Jersey is. . . . .  ‘Island life’.

“My mam always says we live in a ‘bubble’ (in a good way!) in Jersey” Michelle says “it’s that happy little bubble that has kept me here for the past 20 years”.
